Herb Lin

Herb Lin is one of the founders of the MIT Israeli Folk Dance, which grew from its initial size of 15 in 1970 to a peak of 400 regular attendees, and a founding member of the Boston Israeli dance troupe Hamakor. To his knowledge, he is the only Chinese Israeli folk dance teacher on the East Coast.

Jay McCrensky

Jay McCrensky is the founder of Machaya Klezmer Band, a Jewish band that masters the style, feeling and dynamism of authentic East European Jewish music. Jay is also the founder and President of the Contemporary Kabbalah Institute (CKI), a new rabbinic and scholarly center for the development and promotion of contemporary Kabbalah.
