Fools, Folk and Fowl: Stories of People and Chickens
Miriam Nadel

Miriam Nadel has performed folk tales, personal stories and original fairy tales at venues ranging from a Hollywood art gallery to the Washington Folk Festival. She has also taught numerous workshops on family storytelling and on the serious matter of being funny. All of the stories she tells are true, whether or not they happened that way.

Barbara Effron

For over twenty years, Barbara Effron has delighted children and adults in metropolitan Washington with her enchanting tales and musical stories. Barbara's Storytime Express program brings stories and songs to schools, libraries, synagogues, senior centers, and area festivals. She has performed at the Kennedy Center, the White House, the Library of Congress, the Smithsonian, and Busch Gardens.

Jewish Stories for the Young and Old
Noa Baum

Israeli storyteller Noa Baum builds bridges of understanding and compassion between East and West, American and Israeli, Arab and Jew. Since 1982, Noa's storytelling has captivated and inspired children and adults internationally. She holds an M.A. in Educational Theater from NYU, is a Recommended Parents' Choice Award winner and a recipient of Individual Artist Awards from Maryland State Arts Council and Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County. Performance highlights include: The world Bank, The Mayo Clinic for Humanities in Medicine, The Kennedy Center, Brandeis University; The Jewish Museum of NYC, Stanford University, Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
